Pre-Review Check

Like many preprints, eiRxiv does a pre-review check on every manuscript to make sure it is:

  • ETHICAL
    • Is the manuscript the student’s own original work – not AI, not plagiarized, and not published elsewhere?
    • Have all forms been completed and submitted correctly for any research with humans, vertebrates, or hazards?
    • Have all conflicts of interests been accurately declared?
    • Is the manuscript safe to publish? Could it endanger individual or public health?

If a manuscript does not meet these requirements at any point during the submission or posting process, it cannot be posted.

Depending on the severity of the issue(s), eiRxiv may either withdraw the manuscript or ask the authors to revise it. Completing these requested revisions does not guarantee the manuscript will be posted.
